Where Do You Turn For Mortgage Help?

With the mortgage industry becoming a big focus in recent years and the collapse causing many to face financial crisis, many are trying to find a solution while others still yet fear that there is not one out there for them.

With the economy taking such a big hit recently and the mortgage industry slipping and losing ground, this is an all too common fact. So many do not realize that there are answers out there, or where they may find them. Kirsty Sinsara knows exactly what that is like, and has helped many with this issue to find those answers they need.

Not knowing where to turn is a big problem for some facing the loss of their homes. The information that they need simply is not as available as it should be, and that information may mean the difference between saving their home and losing it.  "The biggest thing that the Consumer Advocacy Group does," says President Kristy Sinsara, "is educate."

Often only to find themselves having trouble keeping up with the payments as the economy gets worse and worse. Most people who have lost their homes may have been able to keep them, had they only known that there were options out there for them, and this is the Group's key mission: Enabling people to know all of their options.

The Consumer Advocacy Group is not a mortgage modification company, nor do they engage in the sort of tactics that end up costing consumers money rather than helping them. They work tirelessly and passionately to not only educate the people about their rights and their options, but also work towards changing the existing system.

More than simply focusing on enabling consumers faced with forclosures to make better choices through education, the Consumer Advocacy Group also lobbies for changes, so that this sort of thing does not keep happening.

A great deal of the work done by Kristy Sinsara and the Consumer Advocacy Group is not for profit. Seeing a large discrepancy in the number of companies working to educate and help the people that have seen hard times and face the loss of their homes, she decided to do something about it. Through free workshops and personal counseling, the group has been able to help many people who did not even realize that there was hope.

One of the programs that the group has, offers free workshops and often personal counseling to people in return for either donations or time spent volunteering for local charitable organizations. In this, there is a sort of complete circle of community giving that is rather inspiring. Not only does this bring a great deal of hope to those that are helped by the Consumer Advocacy Group, but it also brings a better level of hope and togetherness for the community on the whole.
