There are countless of investment and fund managers out there, but Ron Pollack is among the rare ones who have been trained in financial markets ever since they were kids. This can count a lot in terms of experience. Thus, financial markets almost run inside Ron's life. He started learning about the markets when, during visits to Florida, he would accompany his grandfather Max to the local stockbroker. Max was an avid long-term investor back in the day when there was no Internet or Bloomberg or any other means to view financial information on TV in real-time. Max would just bring Ron to the Shearson stockbroker office, where a group of other men would stand by and watch the tickertape. Ron's interest in the financial market was aroused during those Florida visits. Ron Pollack

Ron Pollack obtained an MBA and Juris Doctor degrees from Harvard University after finishing as magna cum laude in his class and  earning a bachelor's degree in Economics and Politicial Science from Yale. He then became an investment banker at Goldman Sachs at first. He would later work for Drexel Burnham Lambert and then become a limited partner at Feshbach Brothers, which was a pioneering firm that focused on short selling.

He then put up Bulldog Capital Management after working for renowned investment and finance institutions. His firm is made up of smaller goups of funds that handle long and short, net short, and other types of funds. Bulldog Capital Management was merged with the Monitor Group, which became a large global investing and consulting company in 2002. Shadowing his grandfather Max who had introduced him to stock markets, Ron provides significant tips and insights into the world of investing, particularly in the areas of short selling and hedge management.
