The Keynesian Conundrum: Chapter 24 Bankruptcy?

In chapter 24 of the Common Theory, Keynes admonishes us not to employ his theories of deficit spending to increase aggregate demand in order to justify extended term, structural deficits to pay on-going operating expenses. This is exactly what we have done.
